Jeff Hymas' Excellent Presentation
Jeff Hymas gratiously served as our opening speaker for the 2013 HOW Convention. His talk was very enlightening on the subject of the United States Constitution. He did an excellent job in making the constitution a document we can understand. If you would like the opportunity to hear Mr. Hymas speak for your local homeschool group, he said he would be glad to come and give a presentation on the United States Constitution anywhere across Wyoming, just contact him at (307) 265-4298 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
He is a riviting speaker. He makes the subject very clear and even exciting. We could all benefit from hearing what he has to say.
We Need County Contacts!|
Would you like to be a county contact?
The responsibilities are few: Attending the convention – this is the only mandatory meeting of the whole year. Other than that, you need to be available. That's what a contact is all about. Responding to all calls and emails from HOW and other interested parties. You would need to promote the convention in your county, by getting it into newsletters and online. That's it! It's not a hard job, but it is necessary.
We really need at least one contact in each county. Right now the following counties are available: Big Horn, Goshen, Hot Springs, Park, Sheridan, and Washakie. Other counties need alternates, so if you are interested and live in another county, please step up!
If you are concerned about keeping home schooling in Wyoming going strong, please think and pray about becoming a county contact. Please call 307-286-1090 for more information. We need you!
Reasons for attending TeenPact
By A. Barnsdale
When I want to find new friends, learn about God's undying love, and have an educational experience in a fun environment, I attend TeenPact in Wyoming. I have attended TeenPact the last three years and have gained so much from the experience.
If you have heard of TeenPact at all, you might be thinking, a week long class about government? I don't think I am in to that kind of thing.
Although I really enjoy learning about government, I was very apprehensive the first year I went. more...
