Information for High School Students
Wyoming Admissions Officers (WAO) is a non-profit educational and professional association whose aim is to energetically provide quality information about post-secondary options for high school students, parents and counselors throughout the state of Wyoming. WAO is comprised of admissions staff from all seven community colleges and the University of Wyoming.

We offer many different services to assist you and your student(s) transition from high school to college. Here are some of the ways we can help:
Regional college fairs from September 27th October 14th

Annually, we coordinate regional college fairs around the state. Admissions representatives from colleges and universities from around the region gather at different locations around the state to discuss the benefits of their institution. This is a great opportunity to get accurate information from a wide variety of colleges and universities. Find out about college fairs happening in your area here.

Also, prior to attending please register your student(s) at After registering, your student will be given a bar code with the information from their registry that they can share with the colleges of their choosing.

Scholarships to be used at any post-secondary institution
This year our organization is offering scholarships for students who attend the college fairs. Further, we will have two $1,000 scholarships that students can apply for. These scholarships can be used at any institution in-state or out-of-state. Information will be available soon on our website.

Information for college
On our website we have posted information on how to select colleges, how to find scholarships, things to do in your senior year, comparative information on Wyoming community colleges and the University of Wyoming, and much, much more. We encourage you to take time and peruse our pages.
